GNIDA’s Master Plan 2041: Transforming Greater Noida into a Global Gateway
Greater Noida, February 3, 2025: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has unveiled its ambitious Master Plan 2041, positioning Greater Noida as a key gateway to the Noida International Airport. This comprehensive plan includes major infrastructure projects such as a new railway station in Bodki, enhanced Rapid Rail Transport System (RRTS) connectivity, and an extension of the metro network.
Strategic Development for Global Connectivity
With the Noida International Airport set to begin commercial operations in the near future, GNIDA is actively working to develop Greater Noida as a prime residential, commercial, and industrial hub. Recognizing that development along the Yamuna Expressway will take time, the authority has decided to establish Greater Noida as the primary transit point for international and domestic travelers.
Enhanced Rail and Metro Connectivity
The Master Plan 2041 includes the construction of a proposed railway station in Bodki, catering to Greater Noida’s increasing passenger and freight demands. Additionally, a Rapid Rail Transport System (RRTS) is set to link Greater Noida with Ghaziabad, Hapur, and Khurja, ensuring seamless transportation to and from Meerut and other major cities. This development is expected to boost trade, business, and real estate in the region.
In Phase 2 of the plan, Greater Noida’s metro network will be extended from MMTH in Bodki up to 105 meters. Feeder services, including CNG e-rickshaws and electric buses, will further enhance last-mile connectivity from metro and bus stations.
