US Firm Proposes 1,200-Acre ‘American City’ Project Near Noida Airport

In a major boost to the Yamuna Expressway region, a US-based company has sought 1,200 acres near Noida International Airport in Jewar to develop an ambitious ‘American City’ project. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) has granted in-principle approval for the project, which aims to establish a world-class educational and cultural hub with international collaboration.

Investment and Development Plan

The American firm, represented by US-based consultancy Blue Sky Vantage, intends to invest $4 billion over the next six years in this mega project. The proposed development will feature:

• A top-tier international educational institute, partnering with leading US universities.
• Facilities for performing arts, including sculpture, dance, drama, and theatre.
• Mixed land use with economic activity ventures, commercial towers, and world-class institutions.

Yeida officials have earmarked land in sectors 22D, 22E, 5, and 5A along the Yamuna Expressway for this initiative. Additionally, 100 acres in Sector 22E have been allocated for a university, with an estimated investment of ₹800 crore.
